What can you do NOW!!

I volunteer my time for a few organizations. One of them is a presidential campaign. The first reason is I believe in what this person is saying but I also use this as another reason to talk about how we all need to take better care of our planet, Earth. We need more people working as volunteers in the campaign offices of all of the candidates. We can help people understand that doing things as simple as what we all ready do at home can be applied at the office too. Reduce Reuse Recycle!!!! All it takes is a change in our perspective from 'it doesn't make a difference' to 'we are all connected'. We can tell them about not using plastic water bottles, duplex printing, reusing paper, driving slower, restructuring canvas routes to save gas, walking more of your canvas routes, using carbon credits to offset candidate travel, talking about energy efficiency as the most cost-effective way to get off (foreign) oil dependence, making it a priority that candidates start NOW instituting environmental best practices in their organizations not after the election and speaking to campaign managers about our passion for the candidate AND the Earth.
